I have thought about this many times while watching or playing with my grandchildren. They are filled with joy; a joy that sadly, the world tries to suck from them slowly, every day of their young life. Wrong Speak Publishing is a reader-supported publication. Well said Mr. Grant. I intend to splash in puddles with our grandchildren for as long as they still enjoy it, and then, God willing, with our great grandkids. I want them to know that there is joy in life, and it is theirs to pursue if they wish, regardless of the naysayers.
I remind a good friend that we have to stay in good health so we can be the 'fun grandmas.' Years ago I heard a teacher quip about the change that happens when we feel the need to blame others for the mistakes we have made. I have often pondered this statement and wondered if this is how innocence is lost.

Amen Mr. Terry.
