And someone explain why POTUS is not held accountable for not upholding his oath office and protecting the states from invasion. All the laws necessary are there and he has chosen to disregard them. It seems the US, much like the UK, has an elite that values the common person only as voting booth meat. We are seen as little else, and most politics is a game of ideological ping-pong between psychopaths.
The truth is that illegals come because there's an incentive to do so. The most effective way to cut down on illegal immigration is reduce the incentive.
Part of that is reforming our stupid border enforcement policies, yes; but it won't make much difference without also reducing the economic incentive. We need more allowances for legal immigrant labor in parallel with greater penalties for and better enforcement against employing illegals.
Matched by a lack of rational thought. Of course crimes of all sorts are committed by American citizens. consequently, you think that fact justifies inviting foreign criminals into the country. Because crime already exists we should invite more criminals to join the ones who were born here?

We've allowed ourselves to become dependent on illegal immigrant labor, by which I mean knowingly giving jobs to illegals instead of citizens because illegals cost less to employ.
Immigration reform has to include removing more of the incentives to continue to do that.
Reading comprehension is just fine. Since I'm not dependent on illegals doing shit for me. I plant and pick my own produce, raise and harvest my own protein and milk my own cows and goats. I guess people being killed by illegals really doesn't matter as long as certain people still get their toilets cleaned.
