When I was in law school, the ACLU was heroic for defending free speech. Back then they understood that you had to protect the outlier lest the circle on what was permitted would grow closer and closer to those in power. That is all lost now as they, and others like them, align with the powers that control because the young woke took control. Actually, that isn't fair. I read an opinion piece against free speech and pro lockdowns by law professors. I assumed they would be in their early 30s. They were not - they looked well into their 60s. Perhaps they were students of the big fake Chomsky or admirers of the other big fake - Bernie Sanders who was the politician that could have told the young to challenge vax mandates. Had he done so, everything would have fallen apart. That he did not, tell me everything about his true convictions. Fortunately, a friend who adored him and tried to drag me to a rally has enough integrity to no longer be an adherent.
