Nice piece, but a couple of errors.

1. She left 'fascist' off the list, that's one of the left's favorite lies about us.

2. "The rise of woke ideology..." It's not a real ideology. It's just a list of lies. Just one example: Do you think the leftists really believe that there is no biological difference between men and women?

"I frequently hear from liberals and Democrats that they don’t believe in progressive ideology, but they are fearful to stand up against it." The reality is worse than that.

I came across Rene Girard's work on Scapegoating. He noticed that Judeo-Christianity introduced concepts such as the innocent victim being scapegoated such as Job and then more importantly Jesus. Though Jesus knew he was innocent, he asked forgiveness for his persecutors. Girard said the ability of the victim to question his sacrifice was a culture shift. It was an awareness that the scapegoating was in error, which is unlike other mythology such as the Oedipus myth. And when a person has suffered a terrible wrong at the hands of others but chooses to forgive, an act of grace is witnessed. The Good Samaritan story transcends tribalism. I think we are seeing what happens when you strip away these moral traditions. Nietzsche predicted without God everything would be reduced to power, which in turn, seems to turn to nothing but tribalism.

The question for me is not if people will stand up but how? The far right special interest groups have pockets of organization and purpose that organizes and plans. All the “good people ” (conservative, liberal, slightly left or right) live by morals and standards. Law abiding citizens that do not organize, do not protest but go to work and do the right thing every day. We elect politicians to be the standard bearers for us. Somehow they are lost even though we elected them. So back to my original question…How?

The “woke” ideology is just repackaged Marxism. You can call it Cultural Marxism, Neo-Marxism, but these are just Commies, nothing new here. The tactics of the Left in the West are the same as the those of Bolsheviks, the Maoists, with some Saul Alinsky thrown in.

The institutional capture to which you allude is as well. It’s been a well orchestrated, decades long effort under the radar of most of us, by dedicated Commies to quietly, and now that they have real power, not so quietly, take over.

Teaming up with the CCP and globalist billionaires who fund them in return for economic advantages, they have built a huge power base.

The anti- Israel ( Jew hatred) demonstrations and demonization happening on college campuses now with vocal support for terrorists and murderers disguised as support for the oppressed, will happen to Christians and all Americans who are not on board with the Left’s agenda. Unimpeded, It’s a matter of when not if it happens.

The reason that the Left’s victim groups are ever changing, and their rhetoric and behavior is internally contradictory is that you are looking at it through the wrong lens. When they throw women and Jews and working people under the bus for trannies and islamofascists, it’s because they perceive the new groups to be more advantageous to their goal of tearing down society in order to install their people into power. They don’t believe the shit they spew at the top. That is just psychological fuel for the useful idiots in the streets. All they care about is power, not logic or right vs wrong.

Until we in the center and on the Right fight back harder, we will lose. The Republican Party is mostly captured and useless in this regard.

They are helping the Left because they are either bought off or allow themselves to be patsies. It’s been like this for decades.

The liberals quite literally lost their minds. I know, because I was one, a college professor, of Creative Writing (God forgive me for my sins!) and for a long time as liberal as the rest--until I noticed that my colleagues were either going nuts, or too scared to speak up against the fanatics. I couldn't keep quiet, so they tried to silence me, cancel me, get me fired. They failed, but it was touch and go, and I ended up resigning in disgust. These people don't believe in free thought or speech. This is the subject of my satirical novel on the woke capture of academia, Our Parent Who Art in Heaven. Everyone who belirves in freedom must stand up and fight for it, or we'll lose it--and lose the greatest civilization the world has ever known.

Such bad think, double plus. But it’s just the way I feel.

And trannies and grannies make such fine porno. Do you think those who promoted such evil are the same ones who want you labeled as committing genocide?

Remember, colonialism is the source of genocide but shoving gender ideology into everything is hope, not neocolonialism.

The trans ideology must be stopped! It’s as authoritarian as any right wing ideology ever was, and it has infiltrated our democracy and other democratic institutions. .. How to stop this from turning into trans humanism is a huge question. It is extremely well funded , so that also makes it hard to overcome.

I know there are liberals who will vote conservative this time around , because it’s the liberals who support this. Women and children are the main victims , so many women will not vote for Biden after he has thrown women under the bus with his disgusting change of Title Nine! After decades of working for women’s rights, women are again second class citizens with so- called trans” women “ taking away their rights!

Yeah, you missed a lot during those 5. It's been-a loooooooonnnnggg, ho-hooooonngg, time come-in-hin, as the poet David Crosby said.

Academic Marxists and Queer Theorists, Rush & yelling radio, Faux, Tea Partiers, W, MAGAts, Trump and George Floyd-guilt have driven them slowly but inexorably and acccelerating-ly bugshit.

But don't bother playing dumb - they are simply less-violent, more-authoritarian versions of the Right.
