Stand up, head back, and let the tears flow--that’s one way to be a (hu)man.

Thanks for the perspective on JP.

You have put your finger on it. I am not trying to be melodramatic, but as I have observed Jordan Peterson over the past several years it's become obvious that he is pouring himself out for the world. His passionate tireless work has driven him to the edge of physical ruin and madness. He cries because he allows himself to feel the pain of others profoundly. For a recent example, watch his entire interview with Chloe Cole, a very young woman who was convinced in her early teens by society and "medical professionals" that she was trans. As I watched the interview, I realized that Peterson was giving her an incredible gift---he not only interviewed her but he turned the interview into a lengthy psychotherapy session for her. Can you imagine what people would pay to be able to have an extended therapy session with Dr. Peterson? And as he led her through the re-telling of her story, he gently shared his insights with Chloe, and you could the light dawn on her face as she learned the explanations for so much of what she had been thinking and feeling. Tragically, as the saying goes, information she could have used five years ago before she was led into making irreversible changes to her perfectly healthy female body. And yes, towards the end of their conversation, Jordan teared up when Chloe revealed deep pain at the ruin of her young body.

Jordan Peterson is not divine, but I believe that God is working in him. Peterson is paying the price but his answer to God's call is "Yes."

A few years ago my nephew said he enjoyed the book so I tried reading it, but after about 30 pages I was already bored with the opinions of a guy who, at the time, I had no knowledge of. Today I have a better awareness of Peterson and I have no desire to try reading said book now. Thankfully I like to sleep so I don't need sleep aides.
