Your article brings to mind General Butler's essay "War is a Racket" where he discusses being a henchman for big businesses. Here, instead of business interests overseas, veterans are being used for big business (pharmaceutical) interests within the country that nicely coincide with destabilization rhetoric in a weird communist 3.0.
