As a new journalist I just wanted to say I appreciate comments like this. While I have my bias, My job is to inform and provide as much context as possible, not to convince you of anything.

About time. I'm a lefty in most ways, but letting people in, THEN deciding after the fact whether you should have let them in, was, is and will always be a ridiculously stupid policy.

In Asimov's Foundation, the outer province of Anacreon was the first to declare independence from the Galactic Empire, which is so corrupt, incompetent and distracted that it does nothing about it.

In the days of the Alcoholic Republic, when South Carolina said it had the right to nullify Federal tariffs, President Andrew Jackson said if he had to he would lead the US Army into Columbia and personally hang the governor and Senator John C. Calhoun.

Nobody doubted him.

No one can even imagine Joe Biden doing such a thing. Just one more symptom of imperial decline.
