I will never forget the Hillary surrogate Madeleine Albright dictating to women they will vote for Hillary or burn in Hell. Then there's the idiots on the other side who condescend with "follow your man" and "get off the plantation," implying the only ones with the intelligence to make informed decisions and not be misled are pale males. The election is theirs to lose and they're repeating the same stupid stuff as last time, speculating about the motivation in Harris's sex life from decades back. We're not back in the 50's. GO AFTER HER POLICIES. This should be easy.

I 100% agree. I'm a woman from the left side who can no longer support the left in any way. I felt proud standing beside my conservative brothers and sisters fighting covid overreach, trans ideology in schools, open border policies. I now feel things shifting on the right, a pulling in of the ranks, more close mindedness. I'm not the only formerly liberal woman noticing this. Please my conservative friends don't forget the nature of evil we are fighting. An apt analogy comes from the Lord of the Rings. Maybe the Elves and the Dwarfs have their differences but we must stand together to defeat the Dark Lord. We can argue about the other stuff later.

Interesting that you pointed out the liberal talking point that women need a man to tell them how to vote. Several years ago, I received an email from a liberal group asking me to do two things- vote and take a woman with me (inferring a woman couldn't find her way to the polls). Perhaps it's because I'm a conservative, but the women I know would metaphorically smack me in the head if I suggested that they needed to come with me to vote. These women are independent, intelligent and more than capable of choosing the candidate for whom they will vote. In fact, the liberal posture is stupid- gender is irrelevant with respect to intelligence and competence.

I’ve been a single mum for ten years and I’ve never missed an election or a referendum. I took my kids with me to the polls most times. Never needed a man to remind me to exercise my franchise because I felt that was a solemn responsibility.

I am concerned when most women voters I know only care about abortion. They are single issue voters. They don't care about war, free speech, inflation, crime, illegal immigration, totalitarianism, and more. I'm not a Bible pumper and I'm a moderate on abortion. (I follow Bill Clinton's philosophy of legal, safe, rare.) The Dodd decision threw everything out the window with women voters for Republicans. (Even though abortions have increased since then.) Trump has made it clear on multiple occasions that he would never sign a national ban. Let's face, Trump is an abrasive asshole. I'm OK with that but women hate it. Trump needs independent voters, and women are the biggest group he needs to win over.

If you're genuinely moderate on abortion, then you're with Donald Trump on abortion and you support the Dobbs decision.

Yes. I never said I didn’t support Trump or Dobbs. My concern is with the single issue women voters who can’t look past abortion.

The problem is that you are an outlier. As long as 77% of single women and 60% of women, overall, vote against their own best interests, as long as the empathy (women’s) vote gives us every single social pathology because of “Oh that poor…” illegal alien, incarcerated thug, decarcerated thug, insane tranny, etc., as well as the undeniable increasing effeminate West and below-replacement birth rates, as long as the now-undeniable proto-communist left is supported by women voters voting to be unsafe in their streets, their children to be unsafe in their schools, their girls to be defeated by men in their sports… then you’re just wrong. We can have a safe, educated, prosperous civilization with a future - OR - women’s suffrage. It’s a century past obvious we cannot have both.

See if you can respond with facts instead of emotion

The process for repealing or changing an Amendment, such as the Amendment that gives women suffrage, requires at least 2/3 of both Houses of Congress to agree on the change, which must then be ratified (approved) by no less than 3/4 of all the states. Repealing the 19th is not likely under the circumstances.

Those are facts and those facts do not care about your feelings about women’s suffrage.

Ruth I can’t agree with you more. I can’t agree with BH on the single issue voters, especially when the single issue at hand is only a fraction (if at all) the most dire issue being faced.

But the whole woman thing is a little overblown. By that I mean there are as many foolish, generally younger, males who don’t have the first clue what the hell they are supporting lest they understand what it means. Yes, many women are blinded over the abortion issue and that somehow returning it to the states where it belongs, what the Supreme Court ruling meant and what Trump is supporting. This current administration is all about lying, encouraging crime (I mean we currently have a president that continues to fly the bird at court rulings), unsecured borders creating a National Security problem, weaponization of cabinet departments and the list goes on. No the last thing a woman needs is a male, especially a young one, telling her what to do. Our women are much much smarter, despite our VP’s continued display of incompetence, than they are given credit for. They seem to be the bigger group out there that has awaken and see what the hell is really going on and adjusting accordingly (as demonstrated by the couple of dissenting comments above)

This is amazing. I'm not American, and I don't belong to any party. I see things from the outside and I see extremists on both sides ruining it for the rest of you. I'm center right, a Classical Liberal, but I know when "my side" makes mistakes and call them out. It's important to be self-aware, remain critical in our thinking and avoid dogma. That purity spiral that's killing the Left is able to kill the Right as well.
