With the anti-Russian rhetoric early on, I felt for Russians living in the US. Fortunately, nothing seemed to turn violent. Unfortunately, the ugliness of the Israeli situation is frightening. I wonder if the difference, is in part, an open border where we don't know who is entering. This is in no way an excuse, just curious.)
