Yuri, did I see you on Isaac Simpson's podcast last week? I subscribed to your Substack right after the show ended. You're doing great work, too. Yes, the point I think people are missing is that the Fellows gave Gay the job because of her average intellect and moral bankruptcy, not in spite of them. As far as I can discover, she is the only president in Harvard history never to have published a book. Increase Mather wrote 5 or 6 books, and he had to use a quill pen!
Excellent article. I am a 67 yr old product of a state university and an Independent Engineering College. However I could have, as most people, answered the question she could not. I am perplexed by Gay qualifying her yes response with “it depends on the context”. What is the “context” that she answers Yes, and what is the “context” she answers No? Is it based on race or who is chanting it (BLM, White Supremacist, Antifa or a bunch of idealistic ignorant college students)? Wrong is wrong and hedging an affirmative response lying.
I think that was at the start of her tenure at Stanford. Somehow, she managed to dribble out more (aka found ones written by others, maybe abandoned in the faculty lounge) by the time she got to Harvard.
Thanks for your great work. Keep up the pressure. The Harvard Corporation voted unanimously to keep Gay because they are just as demoralized and compromised: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-get-into-harvard-gay-bobo-corporation

She’s Black. 1 point.
She’s a woman. 1 point.
She literally has Gay in her name. 50 points to Gryffindor 😂😂.
I thought she had 11 pubs when she got tenure. It’s 4??
