It sounds like your mom was also a victim of her experiences. And by definition you cannot know which outcomes of you own "stuff" will affect your daughter, until she grows up .. and hopefully views you as a human unlike the way you view your mom. Nearly every parent firmly believes they are correcting things that they experienced and "doing it better" with their child. But as long as we judge some people as evil and excuse others as traumatized, the cycles will continue.
