I was listening to an old philosophy lecture on post mondernism YT (circa early 90s?) given by affable enough fellow with a southern twang. He was scoffing at the notion that post modernism would give way to everyone having their 'own truth.' This and other notions he promulgated did not age well. Unfortunately though he and his ilk had a great influence on society.
Good article and well worth my read this morning. I especially liked the use of your words, Magic Mushrooms, as consumption of psychoactive plants is at an all-time high in this Brave New World. There seems to also be much Delusion in politics, but who gets to define the word Delusional today, I wonder sometimes.
I believe the Democrat Party's best chance at reformation are to serve Jim Jones' Kool Aid recipe at the next party convention. Once all the faithful that have supported their mentally ill anti-America agenda have achieved their final reward can a more grounded, reality based successor emerge. Until sane people come forward to represent all Americans I'm opposed to so called "bipartisanship."
Well said... as far as recovery goes, most progressive Democrats and their supporters are likely mentally ill as well. They'll need treatment.
I'm walking on Sunshine. Thanks for the enlightening Michael.
