I feel that innate hypocrisy is why this isn’t called out all the time. All collectivist stuff is poison.

Your most insightful column yet, Rebecca.

It's a tough pill for people to swallow when they must acknowledge instances where their side is going too far, and that applies to both the left and the right. Extremism in any form is anathema to the will of the majority, even when it leans our way.

Half of my archive is filled with addressing this issue, when people seem to feel they don't qualify as Conservative or Liberal, Republican or Democrat, unless they fall into lemming lockstep with every extreme policy of their chosen tribe.

Picking a team might be necessary in our binary political party system, but thinking for ourselves still applies.

Nice work. ZL

Thanks, my friend! I cant tell you how angry this makes conservatives, particularly conservative men. But the reality is collectivism is collectivism no matter what we call it. We are all individuals and we must treat each other as such.

You were on the right track, were talking about meritocracy, but lost your way when you started talking about women.

In order to claim that conservatives want “all” women to perform their reproductive and household functions of society as you stated in your article, you have to believe the lies.the media is parroting anytime JD Vance is mentioned.

Could you kindly refrain from being just another megaphone for corporate/statist media?

You're actually proving my point. Any time we talk about men and women, individualism is out the window and its "just facts" that women HAVE to be wives and mothers.

Sorry but this IS collectivism and it will lose elections. And this is why the woke right is wrong.

Wait, how did he prove your point? He didn't disprove it, I suppose, but he denied it. And of the two claims, his is more reasonable. Conservatives do not "all" hold such things. Certainly not my experience.

Yes, I agree with you. She wrote some harsh truths about conservative beliefs, but this is just a silly statement:

Conservatives believe that "all women should strive to be wives and mothers, avoid college and careers, and be 'submissive' to a man."

What a ridiculous essay. There is no "woke right." It is a fact that White and Asian men are heavily discriminator against in University admissions and grants. It is not "playing victim" to say that that is not fair.

If you agree with this, Chase Oliver may be the candidate for you. As he puts it, your life is your life, your body is your body, your business is your business, and your property is your property - it's not mine and it's not the government's.

There is a lot here to break down. The fact that you say woke conservatives and women's roles. I am a conservative and I don't feel that way. I was raised thinking that way. It had nothing to do with conservatism. It has to do with roles that the Creator you were speaking about gave men and women to populate the world which is declining by the way. It is more of how people view the family due to their relationship to God and their understanding of the Bible. Let's call it what it really is. That can't be defined as woke if you look at the history of the Bible. All my sisters worked in their marriages. My stepmother worked as well. They all had multiple children. Part of the socialist movement is degrading the nuclear family which is happening in this country. I am not going to say that there aren't men that don't treat women the way you speak of, but stereotyping all men to be that way when some just value family as an institution.

You say Asian Americans are the smartest basically. A lot of them didn't start out in this country and why do they score higher? It is because our education system fails our children. Why not address that problem. Our country is getting dumber all the time. I didn't have computers and smart phones when I was a kid. We had to read and write. We didn't spend hours being dumbed down by social media. The Asian Americans you speak of aren't either. Growing up in Communists countries they aren't allowed to spend time making stupid videos on social media. Department of Education has failed. Where are the families with our kids? Back to that topic again. DOE, FBI doesn't want you involved in your child's education. I am not sure where you get your evidence Asian Americans are the most successful.

There are lawsuits that have been filed as well about DEI hiring practices. When they are hiring to fill those diverse quotas instead of qualified individuals it is unconstitutional. It is called Affirmative Action regardless of what title they give it. So, there is proof that is happening.

You want proof of what is really happening to minorities, blacks in particular. The thing that no one wants to talk about. Immigration is what has really hurt blacks. The party that supports blacks is hurting them more than anyone. They are giving away work visa's and giving away jobs that blacks and hispanics could have. That is where black wealth went. There is evidence of that as well. Article below gives a historical breakdown of how it happened and still is.

Thank you, I couldn't agree with you more. If they'd cut the identity politics out, they be better positioned to win.

Are you of the opinion those on the left are incapable of being "stupidly hypocritically"? Or maybe you think the left is intelligently hypocritical.
