Speaking with those who cry "Trump is a fascist!!!!!," and you ask them about the Covid response you get a blank stare. A friend of mine is a super groovy 77 year old fruitarian. She doesn't even drink coffee so an unknown shot wasn't going to make it in her body. She was shunned by the yoga, vegan types because she wouldn't go along with the narrative. She was utterly confused, but I wasn't. There were ideologues and these same people are holding up signs that Trump is a Hitler. What do we do with this?

I have little hope of criminal accountability... but I suspect that even more important than that might be an accounting of our institutions and policymakers. Not necessarily for their mistakes, but for their lies and their active persecution of critics and dissenters. The powerful are trying to pivot and quietly forget that they engineered a cruel and misled campaign of social control, for years.

Oh yes. I’ve had liberals tell me recently that no one was forced to get the vaccine and no businesses were shut down! They are shameless.

Some of it is manipulation/dishonesty, some is the self-serving and mutable nature of human memory. Policymakers and ideologues still haven’t accounted or apologized for their misdeeds, so they shouldn’t be allowed to forget them.

Synthesized it is about the people doing what they love to do in life. Doing the hard work & enjoying every bit of it. It would be incumbent now on the Republicans to get the fire in their guts to bring it every day, harder & smarter.
