AI, whether producing a script, music or art is devoid of soul. That's what makes all three alive and something each individual takes different things away from.
Psychologists make a similar argument when considering whether or not AI will replace talk-therapies. While we can expect many administrative tasks to become automated, the clinical wisdom for now is what breaks in the context of relationships must heal in the context of relationships. I would say art-making/world-building also assumes this kind of interrelatedness and that AI may never be able to produce it as an output.
As you stated, worse than the questionable output of AI "art" is the effect is will continue to have on the increasingly lazy masses. A rapidly growing number of people are convincing themselves that technology for technology's sake is progress, and it's chipping away at humanity. A sex robot can be made to be physically beautiful, and designed to give tactile pleasure, but it is still a fucking robot. There can be no real connection (unless its user is sociopathic, or just being weird for weird's sake).
As we get multiple generations deep into this view of such tech, we will lose all frames of reference to real human strengths and weaknesses - all of the stuff, good and bad, which makes humanity so beautiful.

Thanks Zeph!
Read what one of the developers of AI technology thinks of it. I find this disgusting. Here is what Elon Musk thinks of its potential.

wow, yeah. I don't like much of that...
It goes right along with Agenda 2030. Musk is a globalist pretending to care about people and rights.
