If a plane is about to land, and ILS stops working due to jamming, I assume the plane could power up and increase altitude and avoid crashing. That is of course a very short-term fix, but could allow time to find the jammer--assuming somebody looks for him.
Even as a merely 49 year old hacker, I cannot imagine any way that anyone could stop a dedicated opponent from cobbling together a $500 directional radio jammer and crashing a plane on landing in heavy weather.

Very interesting drop. Chilling to say the least because it sounds relatively easy to do and low cost. Thus the perfect terrorist tool.
