The ADHD snake oil has fully embedded its tentacles in the west. The house of damaging cards is now accepted "fact." We have a 29-yr-old son and the Mengeles of the world tried to pressure us to put him on ritalin when he was just a toddler, and it continued throughout K-12. He walked to his own drumbeat. We heard incessantly how his grades (in elementary school) could be so much better. Seriously? Pump amphetamines into a tiny child so he can have better grades? Some children seem to survive the drugs, but I believe most have problems. From what I can glean from the so-called news, most (or all) of the school shooters have been on some kind of psychotropic drug. Our son is a grown man, supports himself, is non-violent and happy, with his brain fully intact.
A neighboring family where our kids grew up also had two sons. Mom was a teacher at the local elementary school; Dad, a county employee. The younger of their sons was put on Ritalin with their full approval.
Our kids were over playing at their place one afternoon, my wife chatting with their mom. The younger of her sons was looking through family pics with our youngest son. He looked up to his mom and asked, “Mom? When did I stop being happy?”
Thank you for drawing attention to these horrible practices. I’m neither American nor live there. I did visit recently, and was impressed with the friendliness and kindness of people. It’s not only children but all Americans deserve better. The greed for OTT profits and the lust for power coupled with the loss of moral values seems to make America weak. No doubt it’s a great country, but for how long when there are competing interests around the world? BTW I must commend you on some superb words/phrases you’ve chosen such as “child abuse”, “Frankenstein doctors”, “sadistic stupidity at best, evil incarnate at worst”. I hope you don’t mind me borrowing these.

Each parent of these kids should be forced to watch Cuckoo’s Nest prior to electrocuting their kids.
