Whether black or white or male or female to whom you are attracted sexually is purely subjective and therefore cannot reasonably be contested by an outside observer.
Where you decide to live your life on a spectrum of superficial, stereotypical male to female attributes (and we all do) is also purely subjective and similarly cannot be questioned.
However, your biological sex reflects an objective reality which cannot be changed by your subjective personal view and futile attempts to do so can result in serious health impacts to you as well as harms to members of the sex you are impersonating (primarily women).
Others who are grounded in objective reality should never be forced to accept your subjective version of your actual biological sex.
Finally, it's past time for the LGB community to separate themselves from the trans activists who are trying to take away the rights of women to fairness in sports and to privacy and safety in their restrooms, locker rooms and prisons. They also advocate for the chemical and surgical mutilation of children many of whom would grow up gay.
Their actions are evil and the
understandable negative reaction to the harm they are causing is spilling over to innocent people who are just going about their business, marrying and leading their lives.
I pity those black women you describe. I'm a pale 64-yr-old woman, never fitting the standard of feminine beauty but self-assured, nonetheless. I watched the societal changes in how black women were depicted as un-feminine, to the "Black is Beautiful" campaign. We've come a long way, but some want to hang back and relitigate the past.
Angela Davis said she was radicalized twice; first, by Neo-Marxist darling, Herbert Marcuse, who wrote the essay Repressive Tolerance that called for intolerance of anything deemed on the right. (The second was her being radicalized by the Palestinian movement.) Marcuse said women were a social construct, but we'd prove useful in that construct. Once you connect the dots, much falls into place. This includes the notion that women do not need a husband to raise a family, which goes against what societies have evolved.
I am friendly with a woman who is in the beauty business. She is still seething that Harris didn't win. We both have sons of 'military age.' I was terrified of Harris and the Ukraine War going from a proxy war to a modern Vietnam War with a country that has nuclear weapons. I didn't tell her I voted for Trump because that would end our friendly business arrangement. Other black female acquaintances echo the same betrayal, believing race is more important than competency. As scary as I thought Harris was, I feared more her VP. 'Tampon Tim' was an apt description of a governor who ensured tampons were in boys' bathrooms. A Catholic Bishop went to speak with the governor to discuss toning down the trans rhetoric, and the Bishop said the governor looked at him as if he had two heads.
The bizarre mental leaps and tortured language necessary to argue this ideology is astounding. Particularly the suggestion so often heard in Progressive arguments that your skin tone or DNA mandate a political or social stance. NO. I'm sorry but experience has shown me that black women have brains and know how to use them to great effect. And history has shown that having a penis far too often seems to be a substitute for having a brain. (I'm XY, but I try hard to let my brain do the thinking.) Thank you to the many, many women who consider themselves free thinkers and live/vote accordingly.
Thanks for this great piece. I feel like the Black women who say these things seem to be having a specific intergenerational trauma response to years of being gaslit by white male supremacists in the US. The white male traffickers in the 1600s on, specifically targeted Black women and girls' femaleness through sexual violence, forced impregnation, the disturbing "gynecology" shit they did to them, etc. And this targeting of femaleness is still true today when you look at white male sexual violence, etc., against Black women and girls.

The white, allegedly most-marginalised “trans women”, and their white supporters, don’t hold back on adding racist slurs to the misogyny and threats levelled at non-compliant Black women. I’ve seen the screen shots.
Wypippo are sure using people of color to push an agenda- it’s just wrong 😑 Malcomb Michaels Self Identified Gay Man / Drag Queen is being used and trans washed as “ a black trans “ when in fact that is completely fabricated! Trans are using black & brown to trans-wash Gay history!

“penis owners can be women.” Any writer who uses the term “ penis owner” is nuts.
I've always prefered, "people in possession of a penis".
Brilliant, every word a chewy morsel of intellect and wisdom!

It’s unacceptable!
