Society is organizing itself in a way that’s impairing humankind’s social, emotional, and psychological well-being. It's cultivating the innate human capacities for prejudice, aggression, and cruelty in order to pursue a collectivist political ideology. It is being reinforced through Diversity, Equity, Inclusion bureaucracies/policies, anti-racism initiatives, and Social Emotional Learning.
Every individual aged 5 through retirement is impacted by the above structures. Therefore, if the above structures don’t abandon present-day practices and pursue ones that decrease our capacity for prejudice, increase across group relationships, and increase the psychological well-being of all members; the Classical Liberal Enlightenment era of human history will be conquered by 2030.
The reason I began raising questions and seeking discussion is that I saw a world being built where humanity would be in perpetual chaos and conflict while pursuing an illiberal and authoritarian future. My intention was (still is) to unite the 86% of us that value individual liberty and human dignity so that the future political and economic wouldn’t set in. Yet, since 2020, America and Western societies have been enacting illiberal policies that reflect the interests of central planning organizations and corporations rather than their sovereignty as nations. So now, I have two more inconvenient truths about this particular moment.
Humanity (concepts of liberty, sovereignty, and freedom wrapped in biological matter) is being conquered by the closing walls of a bottom-up collectivist Revolution. It is through culture (as noted in the three points above) and a top-down collectivist Revolution being pushed down by the UN, World Economic Forum, and other non-elected policy-making bureaucracies.
Present-day society cares more about maintaining a political divide, chasing clout, and fueling the conflict economy than coming together for the sake of humanity and its future at this particular moment.
Explaining the first point requires a lengthy discussion of the NeoMarxist ideas that emerged from the Frankfurt School in the 1930s. They’ve been applied to society over time, and how they are the philosophical basis for present-day DEI, SEL, and antiracism structures and policies. As well as a lengthy discussion about stakeholder capitalism, ESG scores, Central Bank Digital Currencies, 15-minute cities, individual carbon tracking, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and other ideas from global central (and corporate) planning being implemented in America and around the world. The reality is that liberty-based societies are being phased out and if this generation can’t unhook from the things that divide us, liberty will be lost and the state of humanity will be one at perpetual odds with itself.
Regarding my second point; over the past six years I’ve noticed that those who push back on Empowered Humanity Theory (EHT) the most are those who are most vocal about combating racism/bigotry. And those most outspoken about combating the NeoMarxian culture and corporate global state being imposed on us all. Being canceled, in the workplace for promoting human dignity and a desire to strengthen our common humanity was definitely an odd experience. As was being demonized by others that identify as “woke”.
I was additionally largely rejected by “the non-woke side” for prompting Empowered Humanity Theory as a means to erode the NeoMarxian practices they are exposing. Each of these conversations has resulted in me being labeled a “conservative/Republican or a “liberal/Democrat”. I’ve even been accused of being “woke”, the assumption, that I was on “the bad side” prevented any possibility of advancing practices that focus on strengthening our common humanity. So it appears at this point, maintaining a strong political attachment while demonizing “the other” holds a higher priority than practices that strengthen our common humanity and break the walls of indignity.
At this point, it’s solely up to us, “We The People” to reclaim liberty and begin building an empowering and dignified society because governments, corporations, institutions, media, and entertainers do not have our or our future’s best interest at heart. In spite of the bipartisan resistance, I’m continuing to move forward to build a world that seeks to empower all individuals, honor the dignity between them, and strengthen our common humanity. I’m grateful and honored to do so by serving EmpowerED Pathways, Free Black Thought, The Institute For Liberal Values, and hosting the Reformation Radio podcast. For those seeking to thwart the crushing walls of the bottom-up and top-down Revolution consider supporting and following those organizations and projects.
As liberty-based societies begin to become a thing of the past, maybe it’s time to consider the fact that we all have more in common with each other than we are different. Reinforcing our differences is key to the “divide and conquer” war strategy. It’s time to realize our institutions have been captured by dehumanizing political ideology and Empowered Humanity Theory is a framework that could replace the status quo collectivist ideological framework. Finally, it’s time to reckon with the fact that, IF liberty-based societies are to prevail, it's up to the individuals in those societies to unite and move forward together.
Are Liberty-Based Societies Becoming A Thing Of The Past
You highlight the greatest modern crisis. Liberal democratic values are being replaced by intolerance, partisanship, loyalty tests, and suppression of opposing views at every level of society. When the transformation is complete, the free world, as we know it, will become extinct. Preserving Western values of freedom and democracy must become a priority in building a political coalition of liberals and conservatives. All other issues - no matter how dear to your heart- must become subordinate.
